As heaven reconnected to earth through Jesus Christ at Calvary over 2000 years ago, we feel the mandate in this hour to be a part of that reconnection and not a part from that process. Connection has been defined as the energy that exists between people when they feel seen, heard, and valued; when they can give and receive without judgment; and when they derive sustenance and strength from the relationship.” As relationships in our church communities, neighborhoods, and cities continue to grow and deepen we find that staying connected to heaven and each other becomes more meaningful. As we value the gifts and talents of those around us we see kingdom connection at work. Jesus said in John 8:29 “And He who sent Me is with Me; He has not left Me alone, for I always do (produce) the things that are pleasing to Him.” Jesus is the essence of connection and since we are becoming his essence we are comfortable connecting with each other and producing those moments that “captivate his heart” as the Passion Translation reads.
In this busy Christmas season you will find fun and adventure just around the corner as you reach out and connect with those that are put in your path! You can do it, be intentional and let the Holy Spirit lead you, you will be glad you did!
